The best solution I have seen offered on immigration

I saw this "bus them all out" argument over at Malcolm's blog some time ago, and it left my head spinning. Simplistic solutions just aren't possible, not when you're dealing with millions of illegals. I think the article you linked to is a great step in the right direction. Now if only we could find the political will...

It is so obviously a sensable solution with little political mileage that the chances of its being implemented seem slim to none.
